Hey guys, need some help answering a few questions about my new calcium reactor. Working on dialing this puppy in. I have my ph probe set to turn my solenoid on when ph goes above 6.5 and off it goes below 6.4. Thing is it never goes below 6.52. It’s a very small ramp up and down all day. Is this the right way to do it? So far it seems to be working. Also I’ve been testing my alk, and it seems to have gone up about 1.0 dkh in the past week. I use a Hanna checker and a salifert test. I want it to run around 8.0-8.5. How do I lower the alkalinity coming out of the reactor? Thanks for the help to all!

Use pure alk like Seachem "Reef Builder" until you tune in your calcium reactor.

Not suppose to make big moves with a cal reactor, their for "holding" Cal and Alk once the reactor is tuned in and your reef is stable.

:)

Once you level out your big three, then you can start to tune it in.

Meanwhile...
Eat, Drink and Sleep on these two videos.

The second shows the output's constant stream.
