Calcium reactor needle valve preference, Globe vs Angle

I had some questions about calcium reactors that I was hoping to get some opinions. The first question I have is what are the advantages or disadvantages of a needle valve globe vs angle, or is it stop thinking so hard and buy one. I've seen bubble counters on top of valves that look great but could potentially cause problems in the future. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks again

I would prefer a needle valve my calcium reactor came with a twist to open style valve needle valve would be more precise but either will work.
