A little background for what i want to use this on
I run a heavily stocked 120g system (https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/57722-120g-chalice-delight.html) that is primarily chalice corals. I do have 12 SPS colonies of varies species in the system also. (These sps colonies are anywhere from 2" across up to 18" across. The chalices anywhere from 1" across to 8" across. Also there are two clams in the system a 5" crocea and a 12" derasa.

Im at a crossroads here on which way to take. I have used calcium reactors in the past, but im looking more into the dosing systems. Which would you recommend over the other? Any particular reason?
Which would be more cost effective in the long run?
Any pitfalls with either system that i should be aware of?

Thanks

I use a calc reactor. Has trace elements and other supplements that come off the breakdown of the aragonite media. Cheaper for me and no mixing of any chems.
Both take up about the same amount of Sq ft. Some people have a hard time dialing in a carx though. We visited vivid aquariums this past weekend and they are using a 3 part doser on the 900g display tank w/ mostly SPS.

Up to you but i like my CaRx
