I have the Aquamaxx Nano calcium reactor. The problem I'm having is that my solenoid sticks on with no CO2 coming out into the bubble counter. I have to unplug the solenoid from the PH controller, open the needle valve more than normal and then plug back in the solenoid to get it working again. Then I have to readjust the needle valve for the correct bubble count. It's fine for several more cycles, then the same problem occurs.
I've changed the CO2 check valve (Dennerle), bought a new regulator and the problem still repeats itself.
My gauges read (left one-just under 1000), (right one-between 10-20)
I've even taken apart the reactor and cleaned it. Still have the same problem. Is there a difference between CO2 from a fire extinguisher place and from say a beer distributor (food grade CO2). That is the only other thing I can think of. I had mine filled at a fire extinguisher/welding business. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
