I'm setting up my calcium reactor (hopefully) this weekend and I was wondering if it had to be ran off of a return pump or is it acceptable to run it off of a MaxiJet. I have the GEO 6x12 reactor. Thanks for your input

I have mine feed from my Iwaki that runs my skimmer, carbon and gfo reactors. Simply T'ed off to supply CalRx.

You only need enough flow to match the drip rate so a small MJ400 powerhead is what I use but it could be a Microjet or Minjet too since all are oversized really.

I found a way to T it off of my return pump. Now the only problems is I'm missing the adapter to connect the CO2 tank :(
