Calcium reactor question

Can I mount a calcium reactor on a shelf above tank or should it be at the same hight as my sump and what not ?

Mine is above the sump with a pump to control water flow through the unit. Intake water needs to be pumped upwards to prevent bubbles forming in the reactor. My intake is branched off of a return pump to the unit. Shelf is fine, ime.

That is a great pump for metering flow on a reactor.
