Hey Guys
So I run a calcium reactor and since adding a second chamber I am having a problem where the effluent drip randomly stops dripping and air / gas getting stuck between the co2 input and the reactor.

I need to know, on my second chamber there is an In and an Out, one at the top and one at the bottom, it is not clear which is which and I am wondering does it make a difference and would that cause the reactor to stop dripping.
Its nothing to do with anything else just some back pressure occurring for some reason.

Thanks :)

Well no matter what I did it just wouldnt work with my calcium reactot. Just kept stopping dripping after either a few hours or few days, Randy does that mean the gas was getting trapped in the effluent chamber somehow?

I'm not sure why flow stops. Even if gas accumulated, it or water should still flow out if there is pressure getting to the chamber. Maybe there is a clog between the two chambers?

Is your pump that feeds reactor working? Are you using a ph controller? If the ph dropped below 6.3 in the chamber it could've melted media into a solid mass where you would have no flow depending on type of media. Check your effluent tubing for blockage.

Hi
The problem I have is the calcium reactor works ok without the degassing chamber, soon as I hook up the degassing chamber, it works fine then anything for a few hours to a few days it stops dripping.
Its like the gas cant escape the degassing chamber and the pressure stops the feed pump from allowing water in to the reactor.
I just cant get my head around it.
See pic of my degassing chamber, am I missing something here, is it not suppose to be full of media or is the media the wrong size? Thats the size the shop recommended.

Also
The reactor has a big gap at the top which im guessing has something to do with it
There are 2 videos on youtube showing this reactor working and they are both full to the top bar a few mill and water and bubbles are going around the clear tube on the right, where as mine doesnt
