I’m running my calcium Reactor with the easy method where you run a small constant stream but I’m still getting clogging.

It will run a good constant stream for a day or two, then it would clog. I even tried running a predicted before the needle valve and it still does the same.

Anyone have a solution?

I using the sicce 0.5 pushing it through. Is it possibly too weak?

I'm not familiar with Sicce pumps and the GPH for each but it may be the issue. I use a Maxijet 1200 and I have it all the way open and it barely streams out. Can you try a larger pump? There has to be significant back pressure inside the reactor so, a larger pump may be key.

Cool I’m going to give it a try thanks!!

If your getting clogging you have either too much silt and the media wasn't rinsed well enough, or your ph in the reactor is too low and your media is turning to sludge. If you are controlling the pH in your RX adjust the setpoint up by .3 pH and then see. Most media burns cleanly near 6.5 to 6.8. Dastaco media burns in the mid 5's. But with standard media (by any provider other than Dastaco) once you get near a pH of 6 the media turns to mush and clogs everything.
