Calcium Reactors. Are they better than 2 part? If so, why?

I know for smaller tanks 2 part is a no brainer, but for bigger tanks with lots of SPS? Are they as finicky as some claim (and ive always believed)?

Ive used 2 part for many years. No nothing about CA rx but considering it.

200G tank with fully loaded SPS.

Better is allll opinion based. They are certainly as finicky as people claim they are (I don't personally have one but my friend has told me that is was tedious to set) but once they are set, they're usually fine for months or even years. They are better suited for larger tanks. I like the concept about them since they do also release trace elements that corals would use for their skeletons. I've heard of people having better growth and color with calcium reactors, but I'm not sure about that claim. Plus it'll probably be cheaper for you in the long run since you won't have to keep buying dosing supplies.
