Has any of you that started a new system with ZeoVit, install a CaCo2 reactor from the beginning? or did you wait till after the cycle and fully stocked with SPS while keeping close track of parameters?

Or is liquid 2 part preferred then switch to CaCo2 when more Cal/alk is being consumed?

There no reason to "prefer" two pat dosing, except perhaps that it is easier to adjust as the demand is steadily increasing and can be less expensive in the short term. But two part systems work fine for any level of demand. :)

I started ZEOvit method and CaRx at the same time.
You just have to check your ALK everyday in the beginning.
To bring my numbers up to the level I was shooting for I did dosed two-part first to get there and from there on turned the CaRx on to keep my levels.
Still as of today I check ALK everyday.
I check PO4 Cal and Mag every ten days as every other month I send in a Triton test.
My # are spot on,
Alk: 7.8
Cal: 435
Mag:1380
PO4: 0.03
Triton test is really close to my self testing #, except on ALK as Triton can't test on ALK.

Nice. Hows your PH levels or does that not matter? what CaCo2 reactor do you use? how often to do you make adjustments to it including Co2 refill? Can i see a photo of you Display tank? thanks

My PH is in the morning at about 10am the lowest at 7.91 in the early evening around 6pm it will hit 8.19.
I use a GEO 618 filled with 8lb of re-born and 1lb zeo mag.
Controlled through my APEX and Aquarium Plants digital doser.
I have a 15lb Co2 bottle, the rate I dose as of now I think the bottle going to last me about two years.
As of now I adjusted the reactor about three times and that only on my effluence.
Doser is still set at one Co2 bubble every 10 seconds.

Nice. So the CaCo2 doesnt drop the PH? how do you like the progress on the ZeoVit?

Sounds good. Any Dos and Donts I should be concerned about? Any specific corals that dont do well with Zeo?

Most of the Zeo systems you see have all a dominate of SPS, with the ULNS some of LPS don't feel happy.
You just have to find out yourself which will do good in your system as every system can be or is different in it's on.

Thanks bud. Im going with an SPS system but i wanna incorporate clams, chalices, scolys and certain euphillia. Would be even more awesome to do some rare shrooms haha i guess ill have to test the water, literally. lol

CaCO3/CO2 reactors do always tend to lower pH. That effect can be offset in various ways, but it is an effect of the method. :)
