I say yes. It all depends on your TWV. On nano's its more cost efficient to dose manually. On larger tanks i would run CA reactor because it's more cost efficient in the long run.
I currently run one on my 40g and will never go back to dosing 2 part again (although I still keep some handy for emergencies)

Calcium reactor is so much easier, cheaper and it's more stable as long as it works properly

I have the older version of that and have to say this. The pump prop rusted and and had to change the pump, then I bought two to have one extra just in case and sure enough the same problem happened and now I'm on my last pump. To top it off they changed the style and don't sell my pump any more so I'm going to be looking for a new calcium reactor soon. I'm checking the GEO calcium reactor, they are a little pricey but I understand they are better.

I already have a mix reef tank and the other 75 I have is a frag tank

Check out GeosReef or LifeReef reactors to see what you think of them. I have used both and was happy with both. Both of them have been making reactors for a very long time and have good reputations for quality.

Thanks I will have to look online and check them out. I'm looking for something that people have used for a while. I made the mistake when I first got into reef tanks buying something I thought was good and having to work on it all the time. That's what I'm trying to avoid now.

That's the one I'm running and I love it! I upgraded from a Geo and so far I like the vertex better.

The most benefit to a CaCO3/CO2 reactor comes with the very highest demand tanks, which are SPS heavy.

Even so, I get the sense that the percentage of folks using CaCO3/CO2 reactors even on SPS heavy tanks has declined a bit in the past few years relative to folks using two parts systems, and I think the latter are substantially more popular now.

I compare the pros and cons of the various methods here:
