Calcium reactor

Hi Everyone,
Only been 4 months since i got my tank up and going. So far everything is good. My question is, when do i need a media reactor if i do? I currently have carbon in my tank and i have it in a bag. What about calcium reactor? Do I need one?

I have a 40 gallon all in one tank. Planning on having a mixed reef tank. I should be getting a few corals this Friday from WWC. Mixed of SPS and LPS.

You do not need to use carbon. Water changes will handle issues.

Honestly IMO you do not need a Ca Rx with anything under 100g and only if you have high need. I run one on my 210g, but not on my 40 or picos. Just water changes will suffice if done regularly.
