I am upgrading a 75 gallon to a 120 gallon that is jammed pack with sps. I am looking to buy aquamaxx t1 or t2 reactor. The t1 is rated for 300 gallons and the t2 is rated 500 gallons. Should I just go ahead and go larger since I can or is there drawbacks to that? Thanks

IMHO, go big. Look, you are already upsizing so you would be ready for the next larger tank. No real downside to going larger if you can afford it. Larger ones actually utilize the available co2 more efficiently as there is more surface area in the form of more media to react with. Would love to see what you have and the new build as well. Throw up a build thread and let's all enjoy your reef.
