so i finally got my 750xxl reefer this will be a sps dominant tank its in its 2nd week of cycling im getting a calcium reactor do i need to hook it up now or later
 
No need, nothing is growing or using up the calcium and alkalinity that is in your salt mix. Dosing is performed to replace what is being used by corals to make their skeletons. You honestly can keep up with simple water changes at first. Once the demand outpaces the amount you can replenish with water changes, then its time for dosing or a calcium reactor.
