So I'm going to take the plunge and try a calcium reactor. After all the years I've never had a big enough tank to use one. So here are my choices, I came across 2 calcium reactors used and I don't know which one I should go with so could use a little advice, it would be much appreciated. My two choices are below.
Even thou the MRC CR-2 is rated for a larger capacity but I don't see how that's possible because the 1st chamber is much smaller then the GEO618. I do not plan on going to a bigger tank anytime soon so either one will be sufficient. Both units come highly recommended!!
1. My Reef Creations CR-2 Dual Calcium Reactor
It's an older version so it doesn't have a spray bar or ph probe holder in the first chamber I would have to t a ph holder between both chambers. The upside to a dual chamber is the ability to raise the ph back up before in goes back into the sump. MRC said that the older version is not upgradeable to add on a "spray bar and ph probe holder in first chamber"
