Trying to start adding some beginner coral to my 75 gal aquarium. tanks been cycled since the end of FEB I did a calcium API test and it came back to 340ppm. I was wondering whats a good calcium supplement brand to add in order to get it up?

It's a very simple compound.....calcium chloride.....why not buy the pure chemical from BRS and mix your own with RO/DI.

if I add this will I need to add anything else in order to keep coral?

Yes! You need to maintain alkalinity, calcium and magnesium. Alk and calc typically is added in equal volumes daily. Mag is added when needed....for me, about once every month or so. You need a test kit to measure these guys, and I like Red Sea Pro kit that includes all three tests. The alk is easy for you to make as well. Just pick up Baking Soda....I get a 13 pound bag from Sam's Club for like six dollars. You simply take 2 1/4 cups of this and bake (yes bake, in the oven) at 350F for one hour. Let it cool and add this to a gallon jug, made up to one gallon with RO/DI. The Mag, I'd suggest buying the magnesium chloride from BRS and the magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) from your local drug store. By the way, HERE are the recipes of what I've been talking about. I use Recipe 1.
