Calcium super low while alk is normal

I got a 8 gallon reef tank and dose kalkawasser. I did a test this evening and got 9.4 for alk on my Hanna ( been stable there) and 100 for my calcium. As I know this is super low for calcium, it’s a sulfert test kit and is not expired for another year. Any help?

I'd take a sample to your LFS for testing to rule out an error. I assume the calcium test wasn't with a Hanna?

The test kit is salifert and closes LFS is an hour and a half away. guess I am going to have to make that drive soon

I'd run a few more tests with the Salifert kit first to rule out human error. Double-check the instructions and make sure you're not reading the results in reverse.

As already said I would do another test and maybe even get a different test kit before you do anything to try and fix it
