I’m getting a high calcium reading on my Hanna checker for my bio cube constantly.

when I test my salt water after I mix it it test almost 542 ca
When I tested my rodi freshwater after I filtered it it tested 200ca

I don’t think that sounds right unless maybe my rodi water is too high in ca even after being run through the brs 7 stage filter?

I just changed all the filter floss and chemicals about 30 gallons ago so it shouldn’t be exhausted

I hate the Hanna Calcium checker. It is consistently inconsistent. I quit using it and went back to Nyos Calcium test kit.I pulled my hair out trying to get a consistent reading with the Hanna.
Redsea/Nyos would read 420 while the Hanna would read 500 to off scale. Never did I get Hanna to read what my titration kits do and do consistently.
I watched how to vidoes on the Hanna over and over thinking I was doing something wrong.
My Calc is at 420 according to NYOS. I could check using my hanna and I'll get in the 500s plus. I hate the Hanna checker

The Hanna calcium checker cannot be used to test RODI water.
