calcium way too high

My cal. doser went south on me and now the calcium level was at 8.5 now it is at 32.0 what should I do about this.....

Could do some decent water changes to bring your levels back in line

And do you mean your ALK is now at 32 dkh ?
Seems a strange reading for calcium !

no my alk is 8.5 and my cal. is at 750

Ok that is high for Ca

What size is the system ?

I think you need to turn off the Doser asap and get a water change or two on the go untill the Ca level is back down under 450

Are you certain calcium is 750 ppm? I’d use the kit on some new salt water to check it.

What test kit you using for the Ca ?

I use salifert test kits at the moment and I think the Ca only read to a max 500 ppm

How do you feel it is 750 do the test a couple more times to see if you just didn't read it right.

I went out to buy a new test and salifert test reads 495 so that sounds a lot better then 750 it should go down on own.Thanks for the help

495 ppm calcium is fine.

Cant beat a salifert test kit ... glad to here its ok now
