First off all merry Xmas everyone!!!
My question is I just done a calcium test and is sitting on 320ppm!! Now I'm wondering is this a problem as I only have a FOWLR tank and does low calcium affect ph,alk or mag?????

If you have a FOWLR, use a salt that is "the ocean," (i.e. Instant Ocean), and don't worry about Alk, Calc and Mag.

And Bah Humbug!

My father has a fish only tank and he use Reef crystals and his Cal is 380 to 400 all the time and has coraline everywhere. Up grade salt and might see a bid difference.

You are okay with them fish only.:xd:

I agree with most of the posts above. Salinity, ammonia and nitrates are all you have to worry about. Instant ocean will be a fine salt. NO NEED TO SPEND more money on higher grade salts designed to grow corals.

I never even tested for calcium when I had fowlr and I had plenty of coralline.
