Hi all, been a while since I posted for help so here it goes.

I am trying to get a dosing schedule going and would like some input.

For a couple of days I have tested daily for calcium and it looks like the tank consumes 20 ppm per day, not sure if that's the right way of knowing how much calcium the tank consumes but that's where I am at. I would like to know how much to dose daily if I get my hands on a couple of dosing pumps for the 2 part system.

If there is a better way to dose like Kalk which I have no clue how it works or how I would implement it into the tank, please help me out. I would like to dial the tank in with the dosing as painless as possible.

Thanks and happy reefing.

A two part system (DIY or commercial) or limewater (kalkwasser) are all fine ways to go.

I'd determine the dose of either using the alkalinity drop, not the calcium, but in general, the best way is to pick a dose and monitor it for a while to see if it needs to go up or down.

This calculator shows how much dose of what will give a particular boost to alk or calcium:
