Calcium?

Hey everyone I have a Red Sea Reefer 250 and bought a Jebao dosing pump to supplement Calcium and Alkalinity. Currently I’m dosin 185ml of Calcium and 60 ml of Alkalinity. I have put up the amount of Calcium various time because I keep getting a reading of 380 with a Salifert test kit and 420 with an API test kit. I do have coralline algae growing and some SPS frags. Is this ok?

Id trust the Sakifert reading. let the corals ands test kit dictae your needs to add calcium

Thanks…yea that’s what I thought…better to trust the Salifert

That’s a massive amount of calcium each day. About 54 ppm. Im suspicious it is not correct unless you are dosing to correct for water changes with a mix that does not match the tank.
