Can someone tell me how to calculate how much calcium my tank is using? I currently dose 1/2 teaspoon of Kalk a day through my top off. I am going to dose some Red Sea Coral Colors which is based on calcium consumption. I need to figure out how much to dose. Thank you!

What does that mean? A half teaspoon of dry solid calcium hydroxide?

You would also need to tell us what the tank water volume is.

Then I'd use this calculator to determine how much calcium that accounted for:

Sorry Randy. My post was a bit confusing. My tank is 40 gallons. I dose 1/2 gallon of saturated kalkwasser daily. I’m trying to figure out how that compares to the Red Sea Reef Foundation A (Calcium). Thanks again.

Great!

Adding 1/2 gallon of saturated limewater to 40 gallons boosts calcium by 10 pm. Use 10 ppm per day for the Red Sea calculation.

I used this calculator, entering 5 ppm calcium start, 15 ppm calcium final, and saturated limewater. result: 0.49 gallons.
