Calculating water volume with rock and sand

So I'm going to be dosing dino-x and I'm trying to calculate total water volume. When I used the calculator it's saying 50lbs of rock and 60 of sand only reduced volume by 6 gallons. Could that actually be right?

Ignore dimension I was just trying to get to a total system volume of 91.

I'm interested in this as well! Where did you find that calculator thing, please? That's pretty cool! Would I be able to adjust it to calculate my entire unified system? I'll have a 120 , two 75's and 40 -so far! LOL! I'm in the process of gathering my equipment & it's going to be a while before anything gets wet because I'm doing extensive ( or is that with a P instead of a T ? ) renovations & remodeling to my house.

For reference, using the interior dimensions and actual water height, mine comes out to 116 gallons before rock. When I filled it with a moderate amount of rock in the tank, it took 100 gallons. I've probably got 120~150 pounds of rock, no sand, which was equivalent to 16 gallons. So it sounds reasonable with the rock, maybe a little low with the sand.
 
What you could do is try to determine how many cubic inches of rock and sand you have. Obviously the sand is easy because you just multiply inches of height times inches of width times inches of depth and that’s cubic inches. The rocks may be a little tougher, but you could still get a pretty good approximation just by eye. And if you can measure them you can get even more accurate. Then you add the two and you take the total and you multiply it by .00433 and that’ll give you how many gallons of rocks and sand you have.
