Is there any chance of getting a section with useful calculators on it like the "other place" has? That and the for sale forum is the only reason I even go there at all. We could also add a couple like carbonate hardness (dkh to ppm) and measurement conversions.

Here is a couple I use all on one page:

Maybe if he goes forward with it we can have everyone put in suggestions for different calcs or just tables of info. I would volunteer to help update or anything else needed.
The only thing I wasn't aware of is if there was any kind of intellectual property rights issues for the calculators out there for the programming behind it.

I have Sanjay's flow calculator which is very thorough but would be difficult to code into java (I think). It is in Excel and I can't even get the macros to work right so I have to fudge it a bit.

I need to do it the other way, [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]ppm[/FONT] to [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]dKH. I always use [/FONT]SaltyZoo's Alkalinity Reading Conversion (meq/l / dKH / ppm CaCO3) Utility

That is a good one. I used that often when I set my system up. Even if we can't find someone to program maybe just have all the links in one spot for us to access.
