Sharing just a few of the photos that I've taken in my first week in L.A. I've got 4 more days to visit a handful more places but here are a few of the highlights.

By far the nicest reef I've seen in an aquarium. The pieces in this tank are HUGE. The clam is probably 3 feet from end to end and the Turbinera/Scroll is easily 4-5 feet from end to end. These are from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

These ones are from some of the LFS's in and around L.A. that I've been to so far.

The coolest Nano that I've ever seen and would want to duplicate this if I had one. This came from The Corner Aquarium:

Huge clam at Age of the Aquariums - I watched a 4" purple tang swim inside of the clam and back out! Wish I would have gotten a video of it.

Those are pretty cool tanks, you bringing any livestock back from LA?

I want to, but need to get some people together to go in on one big order so we can save on shipping. I do have a wish list that I've made and will probably just order from their websites after I get back. I now want all new stuff in my tank... :frusty:

I'm pretty sure that on your last day there you could buy everything you wanted, and pay for one day shipping and then get on your plane, just a thought

That is a good idea. Problem is that I'd spend close to a thousand bucks on what I want and would have to revamp my whole tank! LOL Not going to happen while planning a wedding... I do now know after seeing some things in person that I want some new items and have crossed off a few that I originally wanted. Will move up to the "big boy" corals next year after the wedding. Maybe my registry will be all for corals. Haha.

Oh, she knows... LOL She picked out the most expensive thing in the tank to date (clam).
