2016 apex, let the probes sit in my sump for two weeks, tried to calibrate them today. Did manual, floated the solution, temp comp set to 2.2, did the calibrating with the solution still in sump water, and my reading is off by a whole point. What did I do wrong?

There are a lot of problems with calibrated probes reading different than a refractometer. The first step tho should have been starting with a completely dry probe.

I gave up on mine. If I flip it upside down it reads over 40 of I let it sit it slowly drops every day. Give it a wiggle it comes back up even though no I'm escapes.

Also the probe wire is sensitive to other power wires being run by it. They can interfere with the readings.

Good luck with yours. Some people are lucky and theirs read spot on.
