Hello everyone in my first thread.
I recently bought the AZ8371 salinity meter but in the manual I do not write anything to calibrate it. I compared the results with the refractometer calibrated with the 35ppt calibration fluid and I can see differences in the results. I would like to do such a liquid based on NaCl and distilled water myself, but I do not know what proportions to use. I know that Randy in his recipe used 36.5g of salt in less than a liter of water. Unfortunately, in this meter it does not work, because there is no refraction of light, only the measurement is based on TDS scaled for salinity PSU. Could someone advise me how to make liquid for my meter?
I attach a link to my meter https://www.az-instrument.com.tw/az-instrument/en/productsinfo/53.html
Best wishes
