Me trying to keep the tank cool during the heat wave. Already got the UPS Battery back up, may look into some fans next. Highest my tank has gone up to was 82F (from 78). Any other suggestions?

Lol. I’m in San Diego and my tank has gotten as high as 84 for weeks on end. No problems. This is with acros and such. I have two fans that point at the surface and come on if the tank hits 82, which it frequently does around this time of year. It’s just an added precaution. I also have frozen water bottles ready to go, just in case I need even more.![]()

Thanks!Nice set up! Looks like head phones ;Joyful
if you have auto-on emergency air bubblers make sure has fresh batterys (I just changed mine as gonna be away from house for a few hours today). Have fresh gas for generator just in case.. if needed switch to reverse light cycle (aka lights on at night when its cooler) to keep temps down.

117* in the IE today. Tank is hanging tough at 79* but I can’t wait to see my electric bill from the AC running dang near 24/7.
