Hello everyone, I will be getting my light Monday and I don't really have an idea for a lighting schedule. What is tour schedule and what do you keep? I have mostly LPS and looking to move toward SPS.

Hey man,
Well lets get to the tech stuff for these lights first and foremost. I have 3 AI Hydra 26s across my 210, I have them on my 125 as well. I love the lights but here is some important information to know ahead of time.
First what Size tank? This is highly important because you most likely will never run your lights at full power I do not even do that on my 210 or my 125.
Second: Acclimation mode specially for Corals is greatly important and to use it and set it up is key.
Third is the spectrum you are aiming for. Do you want 10k? or more toward the 15k spectrum? This is important as well.
Fourth is setting them up on your wifi network at home so you can control them anywhere you go
Fifth will be the "Fluff" Features such as weather,lunar etc.
So lets get started with the first option I touched upon the size of your tank. Now with running these lights for over a year now I have learned alot with this part. I have used the 26s on the 125 to start then I got a second set for my 210. I bought the rail systems for both and cant be happier. Now say your doing a 55 gallon reef. I would suggest only getting 2. 125 and bigger I would suggest 3. I thought about going for 4 on my 210 but it would be way to much light. They produce a large amount of light to the point I have seen people burn corals and bleach corals easily if they used the wrong amount on what size tank. If you let me know I can steer you in a good direction and set up a profile just for you that you just have to upload.
Second thing Acclimation Mode, ANYTIME you add a coral to the tank I suggest using the acclimation mode at about 40% of your normal color values. Yes I said color values. I will go into depth on this in a bit. Then set it for a 3 day period or however long you feel you need to do so. Then it will automatically switch back to your normal schedule and shut acclimation mode off. Pretty nifty huh? I love the AIs!
Third thing is the color spectrum your going for. Here is the spectrum me and my LFS have come up with and have had great success with LPS,SPS,Softs and Zoas.
Now with this you can adjust it however you want to suit your needs. This is what I have done and really like the results I get out of it. Specially my Dersa Clam. When I got him he was a brownish trim. 3 days under my lights, it turned to more a mother a pearl tone with purple and blue tinges to it. He is just amazing my LFS Owner freaked out and has ordered ATIs because of that! Now as for schedule. This is going to be no more then 12 hours. What I run is 8am starts the sunrise for 3 hours then Sunset starts at 6:30pm. Lunar starts at 9pm ends at 7am. Which tracks the moon and makes it brighter or dimmer at night as the moon phases change. That schedule has worked great for me but again it all will vary when your home and viewing your tank.

You link them to your home wifi network then you can add them to the cloud system by following the urls provided in the boxes. Adding them to the cloud allows you to communicate with them anywhere in the world. Having them on your wifi home network allows you to control them from your phone, tablet,laptop or desktop with out switching to the specific network they produce. Makes life so much simpler.
Fluff stuff. Weather effects are really cool, I use them as I try to keep as realistic to nature as I can. You can adjust the probability and intensity of them I have weather effects running 24/7. Play with this and see what you think of it. Maybe you don't want to add it but I feel it is worth having just for the nature look. As for Lunar cylce I touched on it above in the color spectrums. This is really nice feature as it will change the moonlights as the moon changes, Personally I have seen changes in my fishes behavior with this effect it is rather interesting but can be useful to have dimmer lights as the moon changes. Specially if it is somewhere you sleep (like my 125 is in my bedroom).
Hope all this helps you out. I love the ATI Lights and I will be buying more of them. My LFS has swapped alot of his lights out to the ATI Hydras as well. Any problems please let me know and I will do my best to help you set them up.

To clear something up, they are not ATI but AI. ATI is a different company, AI makes the Hydras, ATI the Radeons. The graph above posted by @Scrambler87 is for the AI Hydras though.

Wow, thanks for these great topics! Sorry I am so late, I seem to be having trouble with the weather cycle and the lunar.... does the weather correspond with the actual weather lol?
