I'm still playing with the colors and settings but have been extremely happy for three months now. They replaced 2x250w MH and 2x140w VHO so the power has gone from 800 watts down to less than 80 watts, $35 a month in power savings on lights alone plus who knows what in chillers, home AC and water replacement costs due to evaporation.

Only 2 wow they call for 5 units over my 60 inch tank?

AI is extremely conservative with their lights. For one, their leg kit is only 6" high which does not give much spread, for another they mount the fixtures perpendicular rather than parallel to the tank. I raised mine to 12" above the waterlevel and turned them parallel. As you can see, there are no shadows or dark spots and anything over 65% burns the corals, SPS included so any more than three fixtures would be a waste of money if you make your own mounting system.

No, there are SPS and LPS and several RBTAs too. I had a mojano infestation awhile back so the hard corals are bouncing back. Two are more than sufficient, as I said, anything more than 65% burns SPS on the rockwork.

heres mine shot this a couple of weeks ago right after i hung them. They have been on this tank for several months
