Calling all IM50 Owners! Help!

Hey guys so I've had my IM50 set up for about 6 months and wanted to see what you guys are using to clean the rear chamber of all the crap? I am using the caddys not the socks and I'm just having a hell of an issue with nitrates and phosphates. I don't know what to use for Skimmer cause nothing fits. I'm getting this air pump one that's smaller off amazon today but I'm not putting a lot of hope in that. What do you guys do to just help filtration and nutrition export?

I had a similar issue with my IM Nuvo 10 in the first few months of running it. I had nitrate around 30ish. I basically just feed less, both coral and fish, use poly fil on the top of the caddy and change that weekly, use alot of bio media balls in the back chamber, and when I do water changes I do it inside the tank itself til the point of the highest coral and I than change all the water in the back til there is a bare bottom. Now my nitrates are consistently under 10.

Yeah see I use two filter pads then poly fil under that and Chemi pure blue in the bottom chamber. I bought some coral and they all died. I have AI prime hydra 32 for light. Im feeding half a cube twice a day but I have like 6 fish and 2 inverts including a blue eye cole tang and a blue spot jaw fish. All the fish and inverts seem super happy. I think Im just used to a sump set up. I had a 75 gal drilled and a 20 gallon long homemade sump before this and man just having a real skimmer and filter where you can get to it nice n easy is nice haha
