i am hoping to see if any of you have any par readings for these lights, so that i can hopefully avoid having to travel and get a par reader.

im on a 65g with 10 inches from the light, to the water surface, and about 33 inches from light to substrate. please post your par readings and heights if you can. thanks.

I have no meter bought own a set and they’re outstanding, quiet and easy to get running

@noopsyche
i have two, and have had them setup for a while now. kinda concerned that they are putting out too much light for stock setting, so i want to make sure that the preset settings are good, or if i need to reduce

I have 6 of the lights hanging around 10" above my 125g tank and with my setting at this

I get a little under 250 par at the top of my rockwork on the left side of the tank (probably 6-8" underwater. Sorry I don't have exact number but when I was checking my par I didn't record the values. I also don't remember what my values were on my sandbed because I was just checking to see what my acros up high were recieving.

I will say while adjusting my lights I accidentally set them to the default SPS setting and they were wayyyyyy too bright. Unfortunately I didn't have my sensor in the tank at the time to see how bright they were. I am running nearly double the number of lights than what Noopsyche recommended that I would need.

I found SPS quite bright. Im on LPS but you can go to mixed reef to compromise.
