calling experts !!! need info on oystercrete rock????

i need to buy a dry rock for my new build and some info on this oystercrete rock bc a person here on my local reef club sells em..
is there any pros or cons on this???

So home made rock? If he pre cures them, it's pretty much the same as dry rock. I remember trying to make some myself, and did not have success. I have heard that crushed oyster shells are calcium carbonate, just like corals, and it should help simulate natural rock. It is also a good way to help save natural reefs.

Some rock made with oysters or bivalves may have a high percentage of phosphates in the chemical makeup. Also, the oysters tend to have a very high alkalinity/buffering capacity, and may work against you in the long run.

I made some with white Portland Cement and crush coral. I did the oyster thing to but I wash it prior to using.

Curing time is another issue though
