Couple weeks ago I upgraded from 2 black boxes to 2 kessil a360we on my 90 gallon tank. Been running peak at 50% color and 70% intensity for 4 hours with a ramp up and down period for a total of around 9 hours on. Today I noticed some browning and tissue loss on a couple of my corals. Guessing the kessil aren't putting out the par of the cheaper lights. Which brings me to my question. I'm upgrading and getting the ati hybrid 36" fixture. Was going to run 2 ati b+ and 2 ati true actinic. My questions are: how long should I run the t5's compared to my current light schedule and how high above my tank should the fixture be?
Thanks for the help everyone

You're getting tissue loss from running your kessils at 70% intensity right off the bat. You have to acclimate corals to kessil light SLOWLY. Kessils are very dim to the human eye, but man can they pack a punch.

Got ya. I'll turn them down.

I dont so I've been going off what I've been able to see others have ran them at. Turned them down to peak at 50% for now. I just figured brown means not enough light and bleached meant too much
