Hey guys, I recently stepped up in tank size, so of course that means thicker glass... I’m at 3/4’s now and my gyre 350’s are barely staying still pushing water straight. Of course I want to optimize my flow and eliminate dead spots but I can not get the magnets to stick where I can put them. Anyone know how to boost the pull? I tried adding magnets from Home Depot with no luck.

My 350's stay on (barely) until I do a water change and then it promptly falls off. They do make a booster magnet though:

I seen that but it’s been discontinued

Ah, I thought maybe it was just out of stock. Hmm, I guess it's on to buying rare earth magnets.
I was looking for some neodymium magnets locally but I’m gonna have to order some. I’ll let you know if they work.

I used two Maxspect Gyre xf130/230 outside magnets
I cut them and used two on the inside pump mags and two on the outside mags Vola works on my 1" thick acrylic very well.
I actual have 5 of these magnets for sale right now
