Just got a few corals and setup lighting with my Seneye PAR reader. Knowing some of these are wildly inaccurate I just wanted to see if an other light owners have their program similar with similar par readings.
lights sit 7” about tank and at the bottom I am getting a reading of 50 Par and the highest rock I am at around 165. I plan on a LPS dominant tank. Pictured below is the program and a pic of the tank.

I'm at lower intensity than you with higher PAR at similar height and depth... can't say mines more accurate as I'm using a seneye too! I actually had to turn mine down as the original setting was causing my zoas at the bottom of the rock to melt.

My settings and some par reading Here the 13th post. Taken with an apogee 510
That’s crazy. I made the same title even haha. I must have read it back in October(when I first bought these lights) and forgot about it!

Well, 3 at least.
I have 4 on a 6 foot with some help
They peak at 60%

Confused on why a would need more lights? Explanation are welcomed. I don’t have a lot of undesirable shading and from what my Seneye is saying I have plenty of room to go up power wise. I more just was hoping for a third party confirmation that they have similar par readings at similar levels of power output. I wish I had the extra cash to buy a more widely know accurate par meter.

When I talked to them they said a light covers a 2’ span. When you are measuring are you measuring straight down from the light? I have found that moving from left to right there is a considerable difference in par vs straight down from the rock. I will get mine hooked up on my new Frag system and try to get you some readings tomorrow.
