Great White will be awesome. I would get a small Smoothound. It prefers colder water so be ready to run your water at about 75-76 degrees max.

There are a couple of books I would suggest, and there is a forums called shark and Ray. Central, where you could get a lot of info. Substrate should not be coarse, because it irritates shark bellies. So maybe. Even bare bottom could work.

That being said to answer your question, how much rockwork is in the pool? What is the average temp? Substrate? Filtration? Is it covered?

Filtration is 300 gallon stock tank with live rock, koi pond bead filter, uv and rk2 skimmer.
Temp is 78 degrees
Rock work is very minimal. It is diy with egg create, pvc and cement.

This will be my first book. I have written a few articles here and there.
I've been a lfs worker, manager, the lead fish husbandry technician at Liveaquaria's Diver's Den, aquarist, exhibit supervisor, assistant curator, and collection supervisor for a zoo and aquarium subcontracting company dealing with a ton of elasmobranchs. I've done everything from permitting/collecting wild elasmobranchs, quarantine, daily care, to captive propagation, building exhibits, and transport.
The information on elasmos for the private aquarist in book form is fairly poor and extremely dated at this time.
As far as sharks appropriate for your setup there are several genus including Chiloscyllium, Hemiscyllium, and Atelomycterus.
