Calming blue throat male aggression with other fish?

I've had my blue throat male in my tank for just about a year now and he has been pretty good with all my fish i've had. I just have added 3 newer fish within the past 2 months and he has been very aggressive with them. There smaller then him so im wondering if he's just trying to show dominance over "his" tank? The new additions were a female flame wrasse, a snowflake clown and a blue star leopard wrasse.

He views the entire tank as his territory. So is going to want to show everyone he is the boss. Add to that, newly added fish exude something, be it a hormone or something else, that other fish can smell/sense. Rather than letting them chill and ease into the new tank, other fish key in on it because they sense the new fish doesn't belong.

Putting new fish in a social acclimation box for a couple of days help them get used to things in a way they can't get attacked.
