Hi Guys, just thought i'd share my experience.
I just set up a calcium reactor last week and i run my effluent as a steady stream into my fuge. I have found the my ph has not dropped. Weirdly it seems to have increased ever so slightly. Was 8.1/8.2 before, now sits steady at 8.2.
Also my cheato seem to be growing even quick or at least pulling towards to surface more than before.
Just my experience

Careful, the excess CO2 can provide enough carbon to the chaeto to pull N and P down super low. Might consider dosing iron and manganese as well to support the rapid growth of chaeto.

Interesting thanks. I already dose iron and manganese as part of my trace program I use. I struggle to keep nutrients in my tank already. Cheato is like my sign that there are some nutrients as it grows lush and green
Will keep an eye on p04 as I get a reading on that at least
