Came in on coral frag

Two of these small starfish (don't think astrea) came in on some new coral when I dipped. Moving all legs so definitely starfish. I tossed em but curious if something bad or good.

Brittle starfish, great cuc, Keep em.

Agree great hitchhikers, too bad you killed them. Always best to keep them until you find out what they are. Just keep in a small container for the time it takes to sort out.

+1. They also reproduce quickly.
These are technically not starfish, but they are both classes of echinoderms.

Thank you I have read through that but this was so small didn't put it with Brittle Starfish in the picture which are full or near full grown.

The brittle stars in your original post are micro brittle stars, so they are already fully grown.
