I got a camel shrimp yesterday and i added it to my new tank which only has an ocellaris in it. Anyways, im planning to upgrade my lighting so i can keep some corals. I have herd that camel shrimps arent reef safe but i dont know what corals they like to pick at since this is my first time keeping one. Im planning on adding zoas and a LTA or Duncan coral

Well..... unfortunately a bad choice of Shrimp for those Corals as they have tendencies to steal food from and damage in the process LPS Corals like Duncans, Acans, Blastos etc... and will do the same to some Paly's and just irritate most other Paly's and Zoa's to where they do not stay open much. If you can get a pair or small Harem of the Camel Shrimp and place them in the Sump they will provide a regular supply of fresh live food for your Fish and Corals.

Cheers, Todd

Dang it. Well this is a nano tank that im keeping him in and i dont have a sump for it. I guess i might just take him back to the LFS or not add corals at all. One of those two i guess haha thanks for the help :)
