I'm having a hard time finding a good thread that talks about good enclosures to shoot from the top of the tank using a view box.

Back in the day, I made little viewbox, and I'd use that, but it's flimsy and hard to maneuver with the camera.

Ideally I want to be able to attach it to the camera body's tripod mount so it's not floating around. I want it to protect up to the camera body if possible.

I'll shoot with a small Sony RX1-R2 as well as a Nikon D800e with a 105mm macro. So if there's something that can accomodate both, that would be ideal (though the sizes of these are so different, I doubt it'll work).

I'm not that interested in super cheap solutions. I just want something that is rock solid.

I made my own using a high quality clear filter for my lens. With this I cut a hole in a square acrylic sheet then made an open end box. I just screw the filter on the lens and it's ready to shoot. I'm not sure what material you would be shooting through with the Avast product but if you make your own using a high quality lens filter your images will be better than shooting through thick acrylic or glass.
