Just been practicing taking some photo's with my camera phone. I'm not really in to general photography, but like the idea of getting better at taking photographs of my reef.

Hopefully someone can give me some pointer on improving.

I have found that keeping the lense flat to the glass helps with the distortion, but other than that, I'm fairly clueless at the moment.

Wow nice photos , beautiful colors and clarity..!! I use an app for taking photos with my iPhone it’s called Aquarium camera .. it allows you too alter blues reds and greens .. helps taking photos under blue lights .. it’s very good

I can't find that specific app for my android, but there is a general camera app I will take a look at.

They guy who created it is on here , I’m sure there’s a thread for it .. I’m beta testing it for him so maybe it’s not out yet .. but you could also probably sign up for it
 
This is just a little editing. Mostly just sharpened up the picture and faded the edges to highlight the Anemone.

Are you using any special settings? I dont have a reef tank yet but have been trying on my FW tank and my pics suck. They are all blurry and distorted.
 
When you start the camera app, and slide to the left screen, you get the following options where you need to select Pro.

Then you can adjust the white balance, focus and shutter speed etc.
