So I don't know if this is allowed here, If not Rev please just remove it.

I have my first DSLR that I really don't need anymore. It's a Nikon d40 and is in perfect condition. It will include all original accessories including software, charger, battery, strap and manuals. I also have a 1 gig card I'll throw in. I'm really not including any lenses because I'm still using them with my wonderful d200!!!! But I do have a kit 55-200 I'll give you that only works on manual focus.

I'd like to see one of you guys get it. It's a very nice entry level DSLR. I'd like 250.00 for it. Pm me if you're intrested.

Well you can post it up in your own forum for sure! :) That's the good thing about having your own club forum. ;)

to bad you didnt post this a week ago..my buddy needed a spare since his D300 just took a dump on him and had to send it to Nikon

It's been sitting in my camera drawer for about 6 months since I picked up the 200. I was trying to get my wife to use it but she likes her Coolpix. I also thought of keeping it as a spare.

His 300 broke huh???

Now I'm thinking again!!!!

yep it crapped out after like 8000 shots and 1year later..I think the sensor is fried somehow. it was 5days out of warranty but lucky nikon said they would cover it as long as it had no sign of abuse.

wish I had the cash...I've been wanting a digital camera with manual focus. My point and shoot camera is just really getting on my nerves when I try to get some nice shots of my corals.

How does the D40 compare to a D80? It would be my first DSLR, but I've used the D80 for a very short amount of time. How many shots (roughly) would you estimate is in the D40?

If they weren't $279 for a new body on ebay I would be.

Here's the last pic with this camera takin about 5 minutes ago. The count on the camera is 6656. The pic was takin with the 18-55 lense. I can include it for 50 dollars. It's not a macro but can take pics about 3 inches away.
