I’ve seen a few post in the past on cameras for the display. What are the good ones? And are you willing to show the quality of it? It’s one of my next purchases in the future

I have two.
A Wyze Cam-Pan and a Blink mini.
The Wyze Cam-Pan can pan and tilt so you can look around the room a bit.
The Blink mini might have a better image.
The Wyze has a better free plan.
The Blink really limits your viewing for a free plan.
Both struggle with the blue lights.

Is it possible to attach an orange filter over those cameras? That might help with the blue light (I’ve never tried this though).

I have a Wansview. No easy way to put a filter on it but on mine you can adjust the kelvin and saturation on the unit. There are some pics and a video from it.

you know ... that reminds me. I have a bunch of the wyze and eufy ones but I also just remembered I have a few spare security system ones. I should mess with those and see how the tank looks. You can't beat a $20-$40 wyze/eufy for the bang for the buck but i wouldn't say they were high quality images where you'd want to look at the tank all day. Good enough to look at the sump and water containers though.

How close to the side of your tank is the camera?
*seems like you could find some yellow/orange film to stick to the front if you really wanted to but maybe more effort than it's worth?

How well does it do under blue light?

On mine it has a adjustable contrast and light to dark ratio slider. It will help to cut some of the blue out. The pictures where taken when my lights were around 16000 to 18000 K. To give you a reference.

I used the following on my camera, it helps a lot with the blue lights. I'll get a picture of it at work later when lights are on. But it's easy to apply, just cut off the size you need and stick it on

What brand camera do you have? I’ll keep this in mind after I get mine set up over the weekend.
