I ordered a hippo tang (small) powder blue tang, and a sand sifting star. As well as a royal gramma.....why not lol. I did the exact opposite of what I wanted for this tank. Being it's not real big, I was gonna put three big fish in it (the idol, the naso, and the emporer) and a bunch of small fish to make it look bigger.....well, I did the opposite. A 120 is a big tank, but in all reality......it's really not.

lol.. It's funny how it seem SO HUGE at first... then your looking at fish and everything you want........ and all of a sudden it's not quite as big as you thought. It's a shame, but that's why I'm sticking with the 75 until I can afford a much larger tank with all new equipment. I'm thinking that wont be until I have a bigger house to fit it in too.

Haha, yeah its kind of a bummer. I was going to get the 220 gallon before this, but the seals in it looked.......oh yeah, I couldn't really see them anymore haha. So I wasn't in the mood to set it all up just to play 220 gallon pickup on bamboo Harwood floors. I'm also not a super fan of this hob overflow either, it works great, but....it's not very attractive. Hopefully soon I can get my job back at gulfstream and get a much larger (280g) drilled.

good luck with getting your job back! I know I will never go back to an un-drilled tank ever again. It just makes me happy to have a reef ready tank. So much nicer, easier and more peace of mind. It's still exciting to watch you fill this puppy up in the mean time!

I love adding to this! I'm picking up another large frogspawn in the morning......and maybe a few more things haha

awesome! It's never just one thing right? I almost never went to the LFS knowing whta i wanted that day. I just went with an open mind and my smartphone connected to their wyfi for research before buying. Still never left with just one thing. I left ONE time without buying a thing and every employee said they were shocked and had to mark it in the calendar. lol

Haha! I don't buy anything from my lfs anymore, it comes home with ich

........everytime. live aquaria and blue zoo for me. As far as my corals, my friend has that covered lol. But yeah, everytime I go I tell myself I won't bring a coral home......and i leave with atleast 3, never fails lol. Never just one

I forgot that I could turn the speed up on these wavemaker's lol. Was trying to figure out how to get better flow all day, then it hit me. Forgot these had controllers under the stand
