Hi reefers yesterday I bought a blue line dwarf parrot, as I normally do I placed it inside a clear plastic container and placed both into a corner of my tank. I do this because I feel it gives the fish time to get used to its new surroundings without being chase into already taken territories, it also gives the current inhabitents a safe way to check out the newbie without spooking it too much.
as I expected they all came over to say hi and eventually went back about their business, all except my 6 line wrasse.
so far its not let up. constantlly hovering around the container. in the begining it looked like aggressive behaviour but I think its realised it can't get to the new guy so its calmed down a bit but still making a attempt to dash at it ever now and again.
so my question has anybody had any success or even failed to keep these 2 types of fish together.
is it common for them to fight or is he hovering as a friend. I don't want to let it free until I know its not going to batted on release.
