Hi Guys,
I am looking for some advice for my failures to QT peppermint shrimp.

I currently have a coral/invert QT tank where I hold these the animals for 45 days before going into the DT tank. I have kept a variety of type of snails in the tank no issue, along with all types of coral. However I have lost three different peppermint shrimp within 8 hrs of adding to the qt tank.

My acclamation process seems fine as I am dripping for 60 minutes and floating the bag for 15. I am testing temperature and salinity and making sure they are identical before adding the shrimp.

I do dip my corals however they are washed off fairly well before putting in the tank. I do not think this is the issue as my snails are living.

Any advice would be great, thank you guys very much in advance!

I've had similar issues with cleaner shrimp. They just struggle to survive the quarantine process even with good acclimation. They are very susceptible to water parameter changes that sucks them. Also, many are injured in transit in bags... which i think also leads to them being weak when introduced to the quarantine tank. I finally got one cleaner to survive and now it flourishes in the main tank.
