Can’t seem to kill this algae...

So i have a 20 gallon tank I’ve been going for almost 2 years now and i had cyno and i beat that it’s all gone but now I’m dealing with hair algae i believe. I have cheato in one chamber the next chamber i have a skimmer the next chamber i got a reactor running rowaphos and other chamber i run carbon and chemi blue. I do weekly water changes of 5 gallons. I’m running all these phosphate removes and i can’t seem to kill it off. I feed very little once a week. I do have bounce shrooms and I’m worried if i do a 3 day black out the bounces will go away. Idk what else to do. I also have a bunch of blue leg hermits and snails . The blue legs don’t seem to touch the hair algae.

I had a bad algae problem I’m my 20g and couldn’t figure out the cause, it turned out to be dry rock that I put in and didn’t cure first.

Yeah that’s my problem actually. What can i do?

Did you mention that you had turbo snails ? They can help a lot. Another thing that eats algae is Amphipods.

I had one that destroyed my tank. I guess i have to put another one back in.

I would take it out and cure it or you can buy brs reef saver rock that is cheap and pretty safe to put in right away.

If you keep uncured rock in there it will kill everything.

All my corals are doing really well. No problems with the coral it’s just the hair algae is annoying me. The rock has been in my tank for almost 2 years so it has to be cured by now
